The goal of my guide service is to offer you a memorable and unique fishing experience. Whether you want to personally improve your fishing skills or want to learn more about a specific lake, I will do everything possible to make your day a positive experience. Through the course of the day I will guide you through proven tournament tested techniques and give you pointers and tips on presentation, rigging, types of baits, depths, fish location and much more! Feel free to bring your map or handheld GPS unit so that you can return to those secret spots!

Fish through the seasons
I'm still fishing while many have put away their boats. That's great news for my clients! Dress warm and come experience some of the best fishing of the season when most game fish put on the feed bag.
Pick a lake or a technique that you
want to learn
You select the lake that you would like to learn and we'll meet at
the landing. If you would like to learn more about a specific species or
technique, I may suggest a local lake that is currently "hot". Unlike
many licensed guides who only fish on one or two lakes, I have the ability to offer
guided trips to select bodies of water in Wisconsin. Twenty-two years of participating
in various bass, muskie and walleye tournaments throughout Wisconsin has given me an opportunity to
learn these outstanding fisheries. My clients benefit from this experience by
being able to follow the active fish throughout the fishing season. I will
suggest a targeted species that will have a tendency to be more active on a
particular body of water because of seasonal changes. I am also available for
night fishing on select waters to take advantage of fish with nocturnal feeding
habits.
What to bring:
All you'll need to bring along is a Wisconsin
fishing license, proper clothing for inclement weather, hat, sunglasses,
sunscreen, lunch, beverages and a camera. If you want to keep
your catch, bring a cooler with ice so that you can transport the fish home. I
would also suggest that you bring a map and/or handheld GPS unit so that you
can return to the great fishing spots that you will learn.
What I provide:
I furnish a clean, safe and secure 20 foot Ranger 620 boat with a
225 HP Mercury Optimax motor. It is fully equipped with state of the art
electronics, trolling motors, kicker motor and all necessary safety equipment.
All gas and live bait is included. I can, if necessary, furnish all rods, reels
and lures. If you have your own favorites, by all means bring them. Please
advise me in advance if you would like to use mine.
Rates:
I offer both full and half-day trips on your favorite lakes. My
full day fee for a minimum of eight hours of fishing is $350.00 and my half-day
fee is $200.00. This fee is for up to two people. This cost includes everything
needed for an enjoyable fishing trip. I also offer night fishing trips on
select lakes.
Deposits:
A $100.00 deposit is required to
guarantee your trip. Deposits are non-refundable but can be applied toward
another date.
